  Cabin Fever Sundays
Cabin Fever Sunday Programs are offered during the winter on Sunday afternoons in the museum's auditorium.
     
  Grand Opening Adirondack Rustic Exhibits: May 25
Come celebrate the Museum's 50th Anniversary and join us in the Grand Opening of the new Adirondack Rustic Exhibits. Take a Rustic Journey through time and find unique art, uncommon architecture, exquisite furniture and notable style from the mid 1800s through today. Take a photo of your family in a rustic setting and kids can explore the "Discovery Wall."
     
  Two Days of Adirondack Rustic Fun: May 26-27, 2007
Hear Bluegrass music by the award-winning Gibson Brothers on Saturday. Explore the new exhibits, meet costumed interpreters, watch blacksmithing and rustic furniture making demonstrations, building a lean-to and take part in family activities.
     
  All Dads on Deck: June 17, 2007
A fun-filled day for Dads and their families. Enjoy a toy boat workshop and regatta, scavenger hunts, and more!
     
  Adirondack Boat Expo: July 14-15, 2007
View a special collection of antique and classic boats and discover the history of boating in the Adirondacks.
     
  Members on the Move
Are you a Museum Member? Join the Adirondack Museum for fun and exciting field trips to great locations in the Adirondack Park. Enjoy the beautiful waters of the region with boat trips led by Curator Hallie Bond. Explore the Great Camps with Director Caroline Welsh and Adirondack Architectural Heritage. Or come to the museum on select days for a "Brown Bag Lunch " Collection tour.

The Adirondack Museum is proud to partner with Great Camp Sagamore to offer special weekends and workshops.
     
  Garden Festival: July 21, 2007
Celebrate seasonal blooms, shade gardens, and summer time at the Adirondack Museum’s Garden Festival.
     
  Monday Evening Lectures
Monday Evening Lectures are held in the museum’s Auditorium each Monday in July & August.
     
  Behind the Scenes Tours
Look behind the scenes in the fabulous Collections Storage and Study Center offering thousands of rarely seen objects. Guided tours are available on select Mondays in July & August.
     
  Demonstrations
A variety of different demonstrations are held on the museum grounds and are included in the price of general admission.
     
  Dog Days of Summer: August 4, 2007
A special day for man's best friend at the Adirondack Museum! Explore the history of working dogs in the Adirondacks while your pet cruises through a fun agility course and joins our pooch parade.
     
  American Mountain Men: August 17-18, 2007
American Mountain Men interpreters set up camp at the Adirondack Museum and captivate visitors with their amazing displays, hands-on activities, and demonstrations.
     
  Reising Schoolhouse Celebration: August 25, 2007
Join the festivities for the 100th Anniversary of our one-room schoolhouse and enjoy special games and hands-on activities.
     
  Rustic Fair & Preview Benefit: Sept. 7-9, 2007
The 20th Annual Rustic Fair will include works by rustic furniture makers from the Adirondack Park, many of whom offer a variety of furniture and accessories.
